RBT competency assessment is one of the most common forms of product used to assess technicians. The competency assessment can be done by defining each skill that is required for each position within a training program. If the competency assessment is done correctly it will provide a listing of skills that are required in each skill area. In this way, trainers can provide more advance training to their employees on the actual skill. A competency assessment should also include an integration of a variety of skills rather than just focusing on one specific subject matter but also must include some random assignment as well. The two products that could be utilized are the ABCD Graph and the T-Chart. Each of these products possess the ability to provide information on areas that need to be improved or reinforced as well as provide a list of skills that are required for each position.
