Assignment 1, Discussion 13 (1 page): Although legislative initiatives have spurred a growth of funding options to support individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, these opportunities may wane or the number of behavior analysts may meet the demand. What other consumer groups could benefit from behavior analytic services? How would you go about supporting this group? What are your thoughts on how such funding would be possible? How would diversifying your consumer base make you a better practitioner? How would you go about learning to provide services out of your scope of practice?
