STEM Timeline

Informal instructions:
Total is 25 events, 3-5 sentences each describing each event. Each topic is divided by 5 into a time period which is below. I attached a screenshot of an example of format.

5 events for each:
Ancient Sciences
Scientific Revolution
Industrial Revolution
Rise of the University
Information and Space Ages

Please keep the 5 for each period together.

In each major time period, you will need to identify and describe at least one event that is attributed to a member of an underrepresented population (female or minority).

I will be transferring the information into an excel sheet so the APA format is only for the sources page.

**Please note, the pages amount was a guess on how much it would take. Please let me know if it needs to be adjusted in any way.

Formal instructions: Create a timeline and add 5 events to the timeline from the time period “Ancient Sciences,” as defined in this class. The events should cover a wide range of sciences, technology, math, and engineering (i.e., they can’t all be mathematics related or all astronomy related, etc.). In each major time period, you will need to identify and describe at least one event that is attributed to a member of an underrepresented population (female or minority). Each entry needs a date and 4-5 sentences describing the event, its significance, and a connection to its social context. Be sure that each entry has a date and required description and be sure that there are events from each area (Science, Math, Technology, and Engineering) represented on the timeline.
