Visual media is an important aspect of training because it allows the technicians to view material from a variety of different perspectives and builds connections between ideas. This visual aspect also allows for better retention and understanding of the material. Visual media is a very good tool for gaining consensus on issues because it provides materials like video, photograph, or computer sketches that can be used to help convey information. They are also useful in training because they provide us with an opportunity to use the visual modality. Auditory and visual media is a very simple way to present data. Visual media also provides us with the opportunity to enhance verbal instruction, by providing a visual counterpart, it allows for a better understanding of material being presented.
