One of these is learning differences, of which there are many. This week, let’s touch upon how learning styles play into our own learning, teaching, and relationships with families and communities. Everyone has unique learning styles and preferences, and others prefer different learning styles in various situations. It is no wonder that we all learn differently. While some prefer taking detailed notes in class, others like recording the lecture and listening to the speaker's notes later. I am a kinesthetic learner because I prefer doing things and physical activities to just sitting and taking notes. I also like handling physical objects and finding out how things work by myself. Mainly, I remember things better if I do them by myself, and the best way to relax and unwind is by doing exercises. Also, instead of sit-down lectures, I prefer hands-on workshops.
