Directions: Your final project has two parts. For Part 1 of the project, you will expand on the Wikipedia article that you selected. For Part 2 of the project, you will reflect on what you have learned during this class. Follow the instructions below to complete the template, then save it to your computer with a new file name. | Explain your subtopic in 1 to 2 paragraphs | The article in this case researches and examines the business impact that golden parachute specifically has on both earnings and shareholders. The article in this case made a case study on a Chinese company whose golden parachute payments were considered to being more than 1000 times the annual salary that the executives earned. From looking at this case, the findings helped in understanding the impact that this has on both the shareholders and the earnings of a company that’s adopting this. The main effects observed include lower shareholder participation, excess executive compensation and reduction in firm value. (Please add more to this section)
